In the best pitching match-up of the day saw Sam Long throw 10 K's in only 3.2 innings and Kevin Long coming in and getting 3 strikeouts and the save in 1.1 innings.  Doing his best for the Kings (0-2), Dave Breon had 7 strikeouts in five innings and only gave up one walk. With the scoring in short supply Sam Long went 8-12 for the Bees (2-0) and Charles Besick lead the Kings with one home run and 2 RBi's.
